The Real Glass Ceiling

Because when all is said and done, it’s not how fancy the restaurant you are eating at that counts, it’s who you are facing while sipping on your cabernet.
More than any other previous generation, we have all the time we need to turn our marriages into bliss. King Solomon himself proclaimed the amazing joy of connecting with your beloved.
It’s not that we don’t believe it’s possible. Hollywood is chock-full of movies describing what our relationships should look like, yet a glass ceiling keeps us on this side of sublime euphoria.
Our jobs don’t involve immense physical labor, and our homes don’t require inordinate amounts of toil to maintain. We have all the time we need to engage in meaningful relationships, but we just fail to launch.
