Week 3, Day 3
Week 3 Theme:
Love
Day 3 Point:
Love Notes
Put a love note in your child’s lunch bag or leave a message on her cell phone. Michael Milken used to leave a note under his child’s pillow because he left for work before they awoke.
Make sure it’s age appropriate. Sixteen-year-old boys are not going to enjoy the same messages as ten-year-old girls.
It can be anything. “Have a great day.” “You are Daddy’s princess.” Or, “I want you to know how proud I am that you worked so hard on the exam.” They can also be jokes or short clips from the newspaper with a Post-it note attached.
Realize:
Don’t expect a reply of any kind. Just know that no reply often means you made your child’s day.
